Best apartments I’ve lived in so far. Brent and Jonathan are the best. They are reliable and stay on top of things. If you email or call them they get back to you immediately. The maintenance staff is the best I’ve experienced to this date. I rarely had issues but when I did they were quick to fix the problem. And the views are amazing! The decor is unique, the parking is convenient, and the structure is solid(concrete floors and ceilings). My place was very quiet and serene. If I ever move back to Dallas I’d live here.

It has been an incredible experience living at Lone Star Gas Lofts for the past 1.5 years. I lived in a 675 sq. ft. studio in the north tower. I moved out recently to another place closer to work. I loved walking and scootering to the parks, Farmer's Market, Arts District, Deep Ellum and seeing all the new developments coming in the East Quarter. Management was wonderful to work with. Jonathan was very responsive to a gazillion requests I've had and Michael completed maintenance requests the same day I put them in! They recently put in a parcel locker which makes it more accessible to retrieve packages. For food deliveries, I put in specific directions using the call box so that Uber Eats and Grubhub delivered and left it right outside my apartment door. Ask Jonathan if you have any questions about this. As long as you pay for assigned parking, you won't experience the towing a lot of these other reviews talk about. Any one who has assigned parking cannot use the guest parking. Guest parking on Jackson St. is for 2 hours, otherwise, you'll be towed. Yes, there is a homeless population, but that is what you have in every major downtown city. You should always be vigilant and carry protection anywhere you go, not just downtown.

THE MOST DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE - I looked at Lone Star Gas Lofts in June and Jonathan was my leasing agent. He started out being super nice (as previous reviews stated as well) - he showed me really pretty pictures of a unit that I applied for. They have you pay a non refundable admin fee and half of the security deposit to APPLY. Which was a total of 400. If you decided to not lease, you'd receive the security deposit (250) back. Which is fine, since I was planning on leasing there. I got approved but the unit I'd actually be living in was occupied and I wanted to see it before I signed anything since it's an older building. I went in to see the unit in July and Jonathan wasn't very friendly or helpful and seemed to be somewhere else mentally the day I looked at the unit. I saw another apartment in Deep Ellum the day prior and was blown away at how helpful that team was so it was bad timing for him to be checked out - whatever, we all have things going on. ANYWAYS, I decided not to lease it and he said he'd get me my security deposit back within 2 weeks. It's now coming up on December and I have been following up every week re: my refund and the property manager emailed me saying I forfeited the refund when I declined to lease there after being fully approved. I could say so much more about this but the purpose of my review is to let you know that if you aren't COMPLETELY sure you want to live here (there's insane construction happening right now all around it) then don't apply. It's the most disappointing experience I've had with a property.

This place has LOADS of potential. I just think that management has to do a better job at screening applicants before leasing out to potential tenants. I visit here often to see my friend and the current situation with folk sitting outside at the entrance on the stoop is a bit much and not pleasant to see, I walked up one day and there was a whole crew outside with their lawn chairs SITTIN'IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING we always use the pool area to socialize and have a drink or two if not sitting in his apartment. I'm just saying... man what is going on?.... Other than that it has potential to be a really nice place to live. Maybe it's the pandemic situation \u200d️

Apartment itself is nice but my REGISTERED car had been towed TWICE IN 10 DAYS! Can’t actually speak to anyone to for emergency requests! Had to wait 2 hours for my car to be returned the first time and the second time, I still currently can’t get anyone to call back! I literally have lived here about 2 weeks and I already HATE IT!
