Naturally Dreaming

The staff here is really something else and unfortunately, not in a good way— if there IS a staff. I tried to be optimistic on the management change but Valiant falls short to the professional and efficient team that we used to have with Greystar. The former staff was helpful and always polite, the groundskeepers did a fantastic job in keeping the building clean, and the community as a whole was kept and well ran. I wish the same could be said about this new management but it can’t. The hallways are disgusting, the packages are unruly and scattered all over, and getting a hold of the office is impossible. The frustration is very real. As a current resident this is upsetting. This transition has been a nightmare and as much as I would like to put my trust in this new team, I’m having a hard time doing so. Shelby (Manager or assistant manager?) was the only one who was polite when I visited the office recently. The girl who sat in the right desk once you come in had a standoffish attitude and acted as if I was inconveniencing her. All I ask is that this new management tries to at least care for the community and answer a phone call.

ROACHES!!! BIG A** ROACHES!!! A nice area, and close to alot of food and shopping BUT, when my lease is up I am out of here. When I first moved in with nothing in the apartment I thought maybe one was here because it's been vacant. Oh no I feel as if I am in their apartment. They keep coming back 1-2 at a time. I see them dead in the hallway sometimes as well. For this apartment to cost this much and to be paying for pest control this is unacceptable.

I’ve been a resident here since February of 2020 and it’s been a wonderful experience, especially during the pandemic. They’ve been nothing but accommodating and resourceful. The office staff is so friendly and kind and I always look forward to seeing the maintenance staff every morning when walking my dog. Honestly the nicest people who always brighten my day. I’ve had no issues and love living at 5 Mockingbird.

I've lived here 12 years and have been through three management companies. Greystar is truly making an effort to improve every aspect of this community. The new renovations are incredible. Office staff is friendly. Maintenence is a 10. I feel safe here. Location is perfect. Highly recommended!!
