Visited back in mid October. This is an excellent country park with lots of walking trails through woodlands. Other interesting things to see include Dalkeith Palace, St Mary's Scottish Episcopal Church and Adam designed Montagu Bridge. Beautiful place.

Very good ...wanted to go for a wee walk. We followed the green route and did 5 miles. Neither my legs nor my 8 year old were impressed with my wrong turn. Still ... a good, open space allowing a change of scene and a looong walk. Small hut selling coffees and snacks was welcome although we didnt use it. It is, like many places, trying it's best to remain open and provide some services within the permitted guidelines. Can't argue with that.

Loved it, we had a fantastic family visit yesterday. All the kids loved the adventure play park and with annual membership so well priced why not. Its a great day during the school holidays and weekends

Spectacle of light was absolutely fantastic. Not too crowded, clearly sign posted regarding covid. Sanitising stations throughout, plenty staff on site observing (facemasks worn). Hope they do it again next xmas as we will definately go again.
