Dalchini tonbridge Indian take away

Back home in Bradford, I was once told by an Asian restauranteur that if the basic curry isn't right then don't bother with anything else. Tonight was my virgin Dalchini delivery and that basic curry was immense. Perfectly spiced, beautiful flavours and delivered on time. Easily my best Indian experience in 17 years here in Kent and looking forward to ordering again next week.

Heard this was a great Indian but my mother s dish was tiny , not I m pressed and was nt cheap. If their was an email address I would of written a compliant.

What a wonderful treat to cheer up a cold Thursday evening. Food and service was excellent. Will definitely be going back!

Love the food here, the new Shahi zeera lamb dish is my personal fave. Found the nan breads and biriyani to also be especially good. Would recommend.

Absolutely appalling takeaway. Ordered at 1825pm, order was confirmed with a wait time of 80 minutes. Delivery email stated we would receive the order at 1944pm. After numerous attempts to contact Dalchini to zero avail, at 2045pm we drove there to see what was going on and why our order was 1 hour late (2 hours 15 minutes since we ordered). There were 4 other people stood outside also complaining wanting to know where their orders were. We were told 10 more minutes so we waited... Eventually at 2110pm we were given our order with a measly 8 refund on a 58 order! It transpires the owner was sat at home processing all the orders when realistically, they should NOT have taken anymore orders. There were 4 delivery drivers stood waiting because no orders were coming out. Just 2 in the space of 25 minutes and 1 was to the Cinammon which is the sister restaurant!! Our bombay potatoes contained less than half the container and we had 8 tiny potatoes. My dinner was inedible with a hair in the container! The tarka Dahl was extremely runny. The rice was NOT the correct one. 2 of the curries were tatsy and fine with no complaints but the rest of the service was shocking. Would never ever use again. Absolutely disgraceful.
