We visited the Daffodil with our dog recently and could not have been happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived we felt both welcome and Covid safe. We were met at the entrance, briefed very quickly on safety and shown to our table. Even the dog was offered a blanket! The staff wore masks all evening and were all very pleasant, helpful and efficient. Turning to the food, the menu was not long, but there was something on it for everyone. Personally, I don't want a lot of choice on a menu but I can honestly say I would have eaten any of the dishes on offer. I chose the Beef Cheeks and was not disappointed. Perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, as was all of our food - well priced too! I wouldn't hesitate to visit again and hope to do so soon, who knows, I might even move to the area to be closer to such a gem!

Modern decor and a great view of a nearby field with wildlife in it. Classic Welsh countryside. The food is very good value for money. By that I mean it's a little more expensive than your usual restaurant, but you definitely get what you pay for, and then some. Food is great!! The service is quick and attentive and happy to do whatever they can to make your journey more accommodating. I highly enjoyed my time ther and would really like to go again. Also side note: the COVID distancing has all been well thought out. However their trace and trace is a paper form (very low tech) and to get to the bathroom my understanding is that you have to do a loop round the outside of the building. Not great in that regard. But doing what they can.

Had a lovely midweek meal here while on holiday, 5 adults, a toddler and 3 dogs. On arrival we were given a kind of safety briefing, which was so refreshing having been to other establishments recently where you wouldn't have known we're in the midst of a global pandemic... The proprietor and all other staff wore masks the entire time we were there and couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly or attentive. And the food was delicious! Very highly recommended indeed, if you're looking for a safe and incredibly pleasant restaurant experience. Thank you all.

Fabulous Sunday lunch, friendly staff, lovely views. This is the safest we've felt eating out during these times of restrictions.
