Ordered the 'Chef's Surprise' menu for 2 for a birthday treat. Food was delicious, plentiful & very well presented. Delivery service was excellent too. Will definitely be trying something else on the menu soon! Thanks Dabbawal for a lovely birthday meal.

Stayed in Newcastle on a Sunday on our way to Edinburgh and didn't realize how late it was when we arrived. We were starving and desperately trying to find decent food at 10pm and were recommended Dabbawal. They let us order even though the kitchen closed in 7 minutes. We got the chef's choice and cocktails and everything was amazing. Probably the best Indian food I've ever had. Great value for the prices. The manager and staff were incredibly kind, even though we arrived 30 minutes before they closed. 10/10, thank you for taking great care of us.

Ordered a takeaway box once they ran a pop-up store at Fenwick. Tasty and not too spicy.

1. Service: Service was alright, the employees were quick and polite nothing exceptional but nothing to complain about either. 2. Cleanliness: The bathrooms smelled amazing, everything was clean and polished. 3. Food: the portions were a fair size, the starters were incredible, the main courses had a lot of flavor. 4. Price: for the quality of the food, service and cleanliness the cost is fair. Conclusion: this is a great place to take your lady or friends to, I know we had a blast.
