Ordered the wings... there wasn’t an option for their “famous Voodoo sauce”, only other sauces for additional cost. So I ordered “Voodoo Wangs” and they were delivered without sauce!? Like— why are you even selling wings... please get it right. Mac & Cheese — honestly... Chick-fil-a has better. They microwave their Mac and Cheese! Like... take some pride in your Mac. My son only eats burgers... so we ordered him a bacon cheese burger. Both the bacon and the burger appeared to be microwaved, while I waited... Um... why so much microwave use, when you have a grill top? The Po-Boys... would never make it in NOLA. Maybe the good reviews in Austin are because they haven’t had the real deal in NOLA. Lastly— the mask usage was less than up-to-par... please make this a bigger priority.

To be clear this review is not about the food. I haven’t even tasted it yet the experience at the food truck was so bad that I am leaving this review in the car. The two women running the truck refused to make eye contact or acknowledge the presence of a customer (me) standing in front of them for 25 minutes while I was getting text messages telling me my order was ready. Until I LITERALLY had to yell to get there attention. P.S. for a restaurant that claims everything take longer because it is “made fresh” I sure witnessed an lot of microwaving during my 25 minute wait.
Awesome people, friendly and yes taste like home. LA people serving LA cuisine. My husband and I are from LA and love when we can get a taste of home when were out and about. If you see this truck get yourself a plate!
So goood! Got the fish plate with fries and fried okra. Even through delivery everything was still crispy and delicious. Thanks!
Good food, excellent wings. The problem is that we had to wait over an hour to get a Sandwich, Turkey Leg and one order of Wings. Guy before us waited 45 mins for his fries?! They were not busy, as I sat in front of their truck waiting. If you are this slow, need to change something. It is not okay that people wait an hour for fried food. They did mentioned that they ran out of propane mid order, however that still not enough to make up for over 60 minutes of wait time. Order in ADVANCE and be ready to wait. Food IS good so it might be worth it.
