Nice to visit for once. It’s fun to walk around for a night. Food was not too expensive! And when we got drinks such as gluhwein and chocolate milk, we got cute cups which we could keep or get a refund of 2,50. We kept it, it’s a pretty nice souvenir . Most of the stands were the same, unfortunately, and I expected a bit more pretty lights! The Christmas tree at the Rathaus was very pretty !

I liked it. It's okay. Very crowded, some rude people will bump into you and not apologize. Others are nice, with a smile and give way when possible.
Great market, lots of variety, friendly stall owners and a great day - plenty of great food as well as stalls for Christmas, gifts etc.
Big and nice Christmas market. The Christmas market in Dusseldorf was great, fun and very cold. Wad crowded but still you can enjoy the stands. Where you can find beutiful decorations, delicious German food and lots of handmade stuff. The prices can be a little bit higher than normal.
Not the best Christmas market ever... Nice atmosphere of the big city, but no that cosy or fancy, very crowded. If you have time, use it not to go to this Christmas market. There are other cities with better options! For example, Dortmund with the biggest Christmas tree in the world in the Altstadt or/and Phantastischer Weihnachtsmarkt Fredenbaum. You could also go to Essen where you find a special Christmas market in the building of an old plant Zollverein and ice skating ring as well. Visit more other much smaller, but more authentic Christmas markets. Happy holidays!
