AMAZING. My go to for pure love. (Food and people) The selection of cheese for all the family is great. The sandwich’s are amazing, just how you want your sandwich, with AMAZING salad selection. (the way forward). The staff are amazing and soooo friendly and nice. Love a good sing sing song. X

An incredible place! The management and staff are amazing and will seriously go out of their way to help you out. The photo attached was taken at a wine tasting evening, a thoroughly enjoyable evening that was real; ie no fancy tasting notes, or this is how to drink it, swirl twice to the left etc...just do what you want and enjoy what you want, and they match cheese from their own shop to go with the 6 wines, 1 beer and G&T...then it’s drink as much as you’d like from the selection until 11.30 ish. Amazing night. The shop stocks great cheese and cooked meats and loads of preserves and there is an amazing beer, whiskey and gin selection. Then go downstairs to the wine cellar to be gobsmacked at the choices, with prices ranging for all budgets. (Side note: all the wine here aren’t stocked in any supermarket, a fact the owners proudly share, they deal with vineyards not mass produces). Saturday lunch finds a free small wine tasting with a matched cheese to sample for free whilst you browse, and you’ll find the owner John wandering and chatting, sharing wine with everyone and you may find him singing songs, mostly musicals! Love this place. 100% best retailer in Brighouse.
