Dropped by on a quiet afternoon and we know nothing about the area..driving all day and needed a rest. The bartender was a delight. Then a few locals straggled in. Our accents didn't match up with theirs so obviously we were not neighbors... nonetheless everyone in their started sharing stories of the area, made us laugh and feel so welcome. Wish we could find a pub like this in the States. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.
Great little pub! Friendly, helpful staff. Had lunch in the bar, with the dog. Good \pub grub\ steak pie was lovely. Nice and bright and clean. Toilets clean as well with soap and hot water. Will be back.
It's a nice location been upgraded they have a new chef very friendly staff .
Very good although, as so many in the group had ordered fish it was just a bit slow to arrive. The fish was excellent and I will have that again. Drinks service very good.
