Left me for 2.5 hours with a decapitated ankle 5 years ago, left my 4 year old bleeding to death last weds. Twice in my life I have needed an ambulance and both times none available. It's truly terrifying that if/when we ever need help, it will not come!

After making an emergency call to the ambulance service yesterday I felt compelled to share the experience. So many times I hear of such negativity towards our nhs and its services, but on this occasion I have to say I am so very impressed. From the time of making the 999 call to my elderly father being admitted to the resuscitation unit I received 100% service. My father was treated with care and consideration and I was kept informed at every stage of treatment. Thank you to ALL staff involved with South Wales Ambulance Service.

Paramedic Steve arrived first (within what seemed like 5 minutes), and then Sue and Mark followed with the ambulance for my Mum. They were all amazing - humourous, friendly, supportive. This bunch take professionalism to the next Level, all deserving to be acknowledged publicly as a some of the kindest people around. I really hope they get this feedback and that people start to convey how valued they truly are. Thank you.
