Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Stayed here for several hours while we took our dog for a walk along the promenade and the Northern end of the beach. Dogs are not allowed on the main beach and it appears only on a lead at the dog friendly section as many people had long lines and didn't see one dog off its lead! :-/ There is a pay and display parking ticket machine near the entrance, I suggest finding a space first as it was very near full when we arrived! Prices were something like 9/day, 6/12Hours, 3/3Hours, so we thought quite reasonable really. There is a place to empty toilet waste, a place to empty grey waste tanks and fresh water available.At the north edge of the parking area there is a 'street' filled with places to eat and drink. Electricity is available at an extra charge but make sure you bring a long cable if you need it! With the current COVID situation, every second place has been closed off, to keep space between the vans, which is a good way to do things, but means there are half the spaces there once was. For us, this was great as I can't imagine how cramped it must be when every space is full! My biggest negative is that the place to empty rubbish and recycling was behind a locked gate, which you must get a code for from somewhere..Don't understand why it is fine for anyone to dump rubbish on a motorway service area or roadsude lay-by for free, but the motorhome parking place needs to hide rubbish bins behind a locked gate, especially that there are free facilities for the toilet and grey waste!??? Didn't ruin our visit, but just a thought... Have a great trip! :-)

Zu Coronazeiten ein super Stellplatz. Das sollte so beibehalten werden. Komme immer wieder gern.
Alles in allem in Ordnung. Das preisgefüge nervt allerdings, um man für alles und jedes einzeln bezahlen muss und das ist auch noch schwierig (z. B. Strom nur mit 1 Münzen - wo soll cm so viele hernehmen?). ist halt ein öffentlich rechtlicher Platz und richtet sich nicht an Service sondern an Bürokratie aus.
Gepflasteter Wohnmobile-Stellplatz direkt am Deich gelegen. Einmal über den Deich und man ist am Meer bzw. Elbmündung/Kugelbake. In direkter Nachbarschaft befinden sich mehrere Imbissbuden. Die technische Ausstattung (Dusche/Strom) müsste vielleicht mal auf die zeitgemäßen Bedürfnisse angepasst werden.
Toller Platz mit toller Ausstattung zum angemessenen Preis. Im Sommer sehr voll. Das Meer ist nur 5 Minuten Fußweg entfernt direkt hinterm Deich. In die Stadt sind es 15 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad.
Es kann sein das man diesen Platz im Sommer besser bewerten würde. Wir waren in der ersten Oktoberwoche da und können eigentlich davon nur abraten. Es bestand keine Möglichkeit an Frischwasser zu kommen da die Touristinformation gegen Mittag bereits geschlossen war. Auch bei den Rettungsschwimmern war niemand mehr zu sehen. Den Platzwart haben wir leider den ganzen Tag auch nicht gesehen. Es wäre besser den Wasserautomaten mit Münzen zu betreiben statt mit irgendwelchen Chips.
Großer Stellplatz, zur Zeit jeder 2. Platz gesperrt. Preis 9 für 24 Std, Strom muss separat gezahlt werden. Wir fanden die Lage direkt am Deich passend für einen Ausflug in die Stadt.
