Good basic hostel. Lady who runs it is very helpful. In the night its cold but we had a lot of blankets. I am not going g five stars becuase hot water was very spotty.
I give them a 5 star rating for congeniality and fairness along with location and personality. The room was very nice and the beds were very comfortable and warm. This is a very old and well kept building located just a few minutes walk to the main Plaza de Armas of Cusco. We found it to be a very pleasant and enjoyable experience for the low cost of only 20.00 for 2 people per night and a wonderful 3.00 price for breakfast of eggs fresh cheese from the area, hot milk with the cafe' for those preferring milk with their cafe' over hot water, tea, hot bread and jelly that would cost much more in any of the local restaurants. We can not say enough wonderful things about the staff and service. The rooms were clean, there was very hot water for showers which helped with warming our bodies after a day of trekking on the cold Cusco air. We would definitely stay at the Kay Pacha again in a future visit. We highly recommend this Hostal.
Lady in the front counter is very nice, kind and helpful but the reality is room is very cold(40's f), no portable heater and barely working hot water(shower works but no sink). We had to check out and find another place for the night.

Lugar muy acogedor, limpio, no muy lejos del centro, y precios atractivos. El personal muy amable y competente. Las habitaciones son muy rústicas y agradables. No hay calefacción pero no tuvimos mucho frío. Sin embargo, habían problemas con el agua caliente de la ducha, por lo cual tuvimos que avisar a la responsable. Es un hotel recomendable.
Anticuado pero comodo. Agua caliente y una cama comoda y limpia para descansar
