We had to sit outdoors on Sunday lunch but it was under cover with heaters so nice and warm. Staff were attentive and we didn't have to wait long. Ordered 4 roasts and was surprised how quickly they came. Really lovely well - cooked vegetables but we would have preferred our beef to be less red. Nothing to complain about. Excellent experience in these darktimes.

After a long walk with friends and dogs we had a delicious lunch before venturing back. Staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to get soya milk for our tea. Felt very safe in the lovely surroundings outside.
Charming rustic restaurant serving an excellent Sunday lunch. Friendly staff, even though it was busy, well worth visiting. Reserve a table!
Food was beautiful, although expensive. Beer was well kept. Staff were curtious. Menu is more like that of a restaurant than most pubs.
Great food, really friendly staff and quick service. We ate outside in the very beautiful green garden under a heater, and near a fire pit, which was just perfect for us.
