A quality Indian takeaway on outskirts of Lewes providing excellent curries that have improved. Had a very nice lamb curry meat was tender and dishes were not overly seasoned as some Indian takeaway's in the past have tended to add far too much salt.**

Fine! In fact way better than you might think from the interior. Give it a go. Loads wrong with it but the food was pretty darn great. My particular highlight was moth balls in the urinals.
Just spent 40 on 2 starters 2 mains and extras and i can honestly say it was horrendous a lamb korma that the meat was so tough the dog would have struggled to eat it and a lamb tikka dupiaza that the lamb was so over cooked it was like eating leather the poppadoms tasted terrible and the keema naan was drenched in oil. It was the first time i have used the curry cottage as ganges at Ringmer was closed and definitely wont be going back.
Personal touch to the service, great decor and features. Generous portions, delicious food. Bargain.
