As a new vegan I was lucky enough to stumble across here due to recommendations and wow! What a little gem! I absolutely love this shop. The lady was so very kind and offered lots of advice and an online ordering which was fabulous. I unfortunately do not live in Leicester and quite a while away but would be a frequent visitor if I did. Everything we bought from here was incredible Thank you, Thank you! I can’t recommend you enough!

I am truly heartbroken because I’ve been in Leicester for two months, leaving it after two days, and I just came across this shop today! They definitely have the most delicious, chocolatey brownies I’ve ever tasted!!!️️️️& the shop lady was the nicest!
We love Currant Affairs. We have been using this shop/food outlet for over 20 years now. Loads of lovely vegan take-out food. My favourite is the vegan lemon and yoghurt cake - so moist and light. The quiche is to die for.. Good range of products and they stock my favourite Booja Booja's too - After Midnight Espresso .
Been getting food from here for the last 22 years since I was 6, love the sosage rolls and soya samosas, one of the major benifits of living in Leicester is having this shop!
Love this place. My favourite eatery in Leicester, I have pretty much tried of the menu and it's all so yummy. I think they really reasonable too and the service is just the best. Since lockdown they have been delivering my groceries and a nice friday treat lunch as I can't get into town. If you are staying in Leicester and want vegan food delivered items message them. Or pop in if you are in town. I wouldn't go anywhere else now as we have always been delighted with their food,they are very eco in their packaging.
