Cured Reviews | Rating 4,5 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Cured is located in San Antonio, United States on 306 Pearl Pkwy UNIT 101. Cured is rated 4.5 out of 5 in the category restaurant in United States. Cured – The gastro-pub style restaurant, in the heart of the Pearl District of San Antonio, TX. Cured is endowed with a name that celebrates Chef Steve McHugh's successful battle against cancer, as well as the artisanal cured meats that are the cornerstone of his menu. The three-time James Beard Award finalist began his culinary journey on a small farm in Wisconsin and a vibrant decade in New Orleans. This position eventually led him to San Antonio where, with a new lease on life after beating lymphoma, he ventured out on his own to open Cured. McHugh's gastronomic foundation relies on the purity of natural regional ingredients and the hands-on unadultured methods that enhanced his own healing process. This from-scratch focus finds its way to seasonally dynamic menus of cured delicacies from the charcuterie to pickles.

Took my boyfriend here for a date and had a wonderful experience. The location is beautiful, the staff is lovely, and the food is great. Our server (Mark) took special attention to make sure we got the most out of San Antonio, even writing down suggestions for places for us to go and his service was impeccable. His food suggestions were great and you could tell he took great pride in both the restaurant and the city of San Antonio, which really made the experience that much better. We hope to come back for another date soon!

Flavor: A Service: A Cocktail: A Solo dining: A at the chef's bar The meat and cheese plates seem a little pricey for what you get, but everything was delicious. And then the burger... oh man. What a simple but uniquely delectable burger. Our waiter was an all-star and we loved sitting at the chef's bar. I got to see the salmon be prepared and it's definitely what I want to try next. Whether you're celebrating something special or just wanting a good dinner for no reason, you won't be disappointed at Cured.

There are plenty of other reviews here to talk about their food and drinks. Beautiful building, great patio, delightful happy hour, etc. ... I want to talk about their soft serve ice cream. This is really good soft serve ice cream. Comes with lots of rainbow sprinkles which is a huge plus aesthetically. Texturally I think I would have preferred the rainbow jimmies but the sprinkles are good too. They even brought out an extra spoon so I could (reluctantly) share it with my girlfriend. We got the swirl which was a good balance between the chocolate and vanilla. I felt it was a tad chocolate heavy but my girlfriend felt it was a fair 50/50 swirl. Cocktails and food are good too I guess. Would recommend you stop by for the ice cream if you’re in the area.

The BEST restaurant in SA. Unbelievable food, fantastic drinks, and a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. Such a cool history behind the building and makes you feel special sitting inside of it. The staff and friendly and always willing to help with suggestions. Walking into the main door with the multiple meat selections on display is very impressive and makes you hungry. The food does not disappoint. As good as all of the charcuterie is, the cheeseburger for lunch is the best cheeseburger I have ever had. Everyone should go here.

Great service and good food. I wish they had a meat and cheese charcuterie plate. They have a meat plate for 25 and a cheese plate for 25, so if you want what most people go there for it is 50 before entrees and drinks. It is a date place more than a place for groups, so I think they should have a reasonably priced offering of meats and cheeses.
