I had the classic Cuban dish - roast pork, black beans and yellow rice. The pork was excellent, very tasty. The black beans were good but I expected more. The portion was so small I couldn't believe it. Rice was good too, a little compressed but good. The Cuban bread was outstanding, just like I remember from the best restaurants in Ybor City, Tampa.

We had the best meal today at Coco’s Cuban restaurant. We started out with 2 beef empanadas as an appetizer, they were hands down the best empanadas we have ever had! They were so flaky and delicious! My husband had the 2 fish with olive oil, garlic, onion which had a fantastic flavor. I had the Ropa Veija which is a shredded beef with garlic, onions, in a Cuban tomato sauce? It had so much flavor and was so good! Finished it up with the Tres leche 3 milk cake? It was delicious! Our service was excellent too!! Please visit this restaurant and get ready to enjoy a great meal!
