We wanted to try Janga. It was super windy, but we found an outdoor table up on the patio. We tried their recommended items: festival bread, mac and cheese balls, fried plantains. It was ALL good. My teen absolutely loved the shrimp and grits, which totally hit the spot on that day. Easily would return.

Opted in for the curry goat for my second visit along with a chicken patty. The goat was so tender and flavorful! I highly recommend. The patty was good, but I did want a little more kick, but the crust made up for it. As for drinks, I recommend the Island old fashion if you like whiskey. It's a refreshing take on a classic by adding the rum and angostura. My second choice of drink there if I want something lighter is the Mojito!

It was very awesome. The staff were warm, friendly and articulate. They could even help you pick the right order. Me and my boyfriend ordered the red snapper with rice and beans while I ordered coconut shrimp with Derricks healing greens. The taste was awesome, they tasted fresh;the fish and greens. And the rice and beans tasted tropical( as if they were curated somewhere in the Carribean by a loving mother) The parking is in the parking structure off Cardiff Ave. Usually 1 hour is free and then you pay for the time after. The only con is that the wait for food is a little long, maybe between 30 to 45 minutes . I guess thats the time it takes to fky to the Carribean, get the rice and beans from a lovely home and back again in LA
