In 2008, they started their first restaurant, Tortuga Bay, which is in Inglewood and features authentic dishes from Mario's hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico. In 2017, Mario & Allegra began their second restaurant venture, Corsair Café, located at Santa Monica College which offers healthy alternatives to the usual cafeteria fare.9, Mario & Allegra decided to recreate a similar type of restaurant in which they met: California-Italian cuisine for the neighborhood and families to gather and enjoy locally-sourced meals. Great tasting Italian cuisine, in a COVID-19 cautious environment. Tables are set-up with enough space, outdoors. Friendly and prompt service. Clean and the food seemed fresh & so well made.

Sorry for no pictures of food hahaha. Had just flown in to Los Angeles and on our way home we happened to find this spot on Google Maps and man it did not disappoint. The server was attentive and friendly. Mario constantly kept refilling our coffee and water we didn't have to ask for refills. We ordered chilaquiles and steak and eggs. The chilaquiles had an exquisite flavor, mixed in with the black beans, man it was good getting hungry again. The steak was thin but darn was it juicy plus the pancakes that came with were soft and fluffy yum. Definitely coming back to this place when I'm in the area.

Absolutely awesome!! The food is super delicious. I will definitely return! The service was great and quick as well. The shrimp burger was something unique and I highly recommend trying this one.
