Found this unique place near downtown Des Moines, Iowa. Right off the banks of the Des Moines river. Plenty of off street parking. It's on the second floor. All tables, no booths. My waitress, Chasity, brought my menu. Ordered coffee. The coffee is strong. But good. Ordered the \Home Run\. Two eggs cooked as ordered. Hashbrowns cooked to a crispy exterior. Sausage patties were delicious. And wheat toast to top it off. With a view of the well kept ball field this is a very nice place to dine. Service was excellent. Food was great The view was awesome Open from 7am to 2 pm Members only during a game Recommend

Really neat place to check out! Has good breakfast items and the staff is very nice. The view of the ballpark field is definitely one of the best parts of coming here to eat. Prices are very reasonable too. Looking forward to eating there again!

We hit up Cub Club after the Farmer's Market on Saturday. It is a seat yourself place and we got a table overlooking the ball field. There were only three other tables besides us. We were brought coffee right away. We ordered hash and eggs with hashbrowns and an english muffin, whole hog omelette (bacon, sausage and ham) with rye toast and a side of a blueberry pancake. They make your food to order so it did take a little while; nothing done up ahead of time. But we watched the people folding up the tarp on the field while we were waiting. Our food came out and it was really good; your typical breakfast fare. The bill came to 16.97 for the two breakfasts, side of pancake and coffee (only 50 cents!!) We now are ready to come back and try lunch. (Christa)
