This place is such a gem. Only about 1hr outside Chicago without traffic. There are tons of things to eat, see, or do on site even if you’re not actively wakeboarding, so feel free to bring young kids or older adults. The food is actually very good. And the drinks are cold! My group did the 2 hour pass in the beginners course, from 25-35 years old, with a mixed background of athletic to couch potato. We all were able to stand up on the first run. Someone actively coaches you and manages the speed of the cable in the beginners section. I didn’t catch his name, but he was such a great teacher. He literally just watched how we went, gave precise feedback, and you could see how everyone instantly improved. That was such an amazing feeling. I will be back often!

Note: this review is for my experience with the Grille side of this place. I really enjoyed my time here. I didn't think I was going to like it because I thought it was all about wake boarding but it was nice to grab a drink and some food while being able to enjoy the sunset. They have a sand volleyball court and four sets of bags for you to play, as well as a fire pit with plenty of seating in the area. I want to give this a five star but I'm want to be as objective as I can. The food was really good, but they ran out of fries, which was a disappointment to the group. That being said, the homemade chips were great and the Chicken Caesar Wrap was awesome. The beer selection was about average, but the mixed drinks left something to be desired. People in the group ordered margarita and a \breeze\ drink of theirs, but they used Squirt as their sweet and sour mix. Something was just off about the drinks. The atmosphere was pretty relaxing and there were definitely some \cali-bros\ there, but everyone I encountered were nice and friendly. Would go back!
Really nice facility with food, drinks, volleyball, bags, a beginner learning area and the large cable park. Great for beginners and advanced riders. Lots of parking for 5.
Awesome place to relax with your friends or family. They have very nice volleyball court, great bar with awesome drinks. You should definitely come here!
This place is amazing! We had a ton of fun cliff jumping and the rope swings! Wouldn’t have known about other staying with locals. Super friendly family owned and managed. Looking forward to coming back next time we visit.
