It's really far away from city and hard to get taxi ,there is a public bus transportation every 20-25 minutes ,they do accept dollar in the bus so you can get down in the town and catch the metro .And no uber or any taxi services doesn't come inside because they have to pay like 500 Reuben to get inside . There is only one coffee shop , duty free shop and good selections of souvenirs and all...
Such a beautiful port, see photos for sunrise and night below. Though a bit far away but we have arranged guide with us so that’s not an issue. Very quiet and clean port. Definitely a great stop over city.

New and vastly improved cruise port in St. Petersburg, Russia, is definitely a step in the right direction. It is immensely better than the old cargo port ships used to visit 10 years ago; it is nice to see Russia go above and beyond many other European ports even. However, a glaring issue is professionalism and knowledge of local staff. They're usually not sure what to do, especially when facing a large crowd. Customs officers are slow and not very professional. Going through immigration will take you a better part of an hour, if not more. Shops in main terminal are quite decent and competitive in prices. If you didn't buy a souvenir downtown, they can provide you with some typical Russia-style souvenirs for a fair price. Conclusion: far better than it was before, but still needs improvement.
Nice place...but little bit far from the city... Shuttle bus available but it's not free.... Don't worry only 1 us
