Great place to let off steam are a busy week. Staff friendly and helpful. I go with my husband and kids we all enjoy it
Visited recently for a friend's birthday. Overall it was a laugh going with friends to do something completely different to anything we've ever done before. Wouldn't say it is something that I personally would do again, but I suppose it's always good to get out of your comfort zone once in a while and I did start to get into it a bit more as the games got going. What I will say though as a complete novice who's never done anything like this before, I didn't always find instructions to be very clear. A lot of the other players had clearly been a few times before, so I found the staff were a bit vague explaining the rules of the games. When members of my group asked for clarification of what we were supposed to do we received very dismissive and unhelpful responses from the Marshall, which didn't make us feel the most welcome. While a lot of the other (more experienced) people there were very committed to the full day of it, I think my group would have definitely appreciated the option of a shorter day. By the fifth round we were all very ready to call it a day, but still had about three more rounds to get through! Social distancing was well enforced at the beginning of the day while queuing up, but then didn't seem to be as the day got going - towards the end of the day we were all stood in quite close proximity of one another with most the groups not wearing face masks. Strangely the staff no longer seemed as concerned about it as they were at the start which I found a bit worrying.
Good place to start and get a feel for the sport, friendly and enthusiastic staff is what this place has in spades. Inventive game modes and good natural features makes sure the gameplay is fun and adrenalin fueled. Site is easy to find and get to, parking is a plenty (located on a farm land - wach out if you have a lowered sporty car, as the dirt road is a bit rough). Only negative is that the features like bunkers/towers etc. on the game field are too run down and some are in dire need of repairs. Once this game site will get a facelift it will be a five star vanue.
