Monday 1st Feb I entered halfords and greeted the first member of staff on my right at the till, she was busy chatting away to her colleague, I said hello and asked her to point me in the direction of the bicycle collection point, she was not wearing a mask and neither was her colleague, she also did not greet me back she simply said \ upstairs \ in an extremely unfriendly unwelcoming manner, I expected far better service I was disappointed, the man that served me upstairs was far more responsive and helpful, I was happy with my bicycle and the service upstairs ONLY. As a paying customer we not only pay for the product but the entire experience as a whole, all we ask of is pleasant friendly staff.

Great one way system which meant I quickly navigated upstairs and avoided close contact with other customers. The customer service was second to none. I needed a new inner tube replaced for a bicycle wheel. I wish I'd got the name of the guy who did this so I could thank him personally! I visited today (20/8 at 1500) and the job was done without delay. Aside from being amiable, the employee also provided lots of helpful advice. It was a breath of fresh air to carry out a chore (!) With someone so positive and in such a lovely environment! Thank you. Parking is fairly limited. Just be careful not to park against the fence on the left as you drive in as that doesn't belong to Halfords and you can get fined for using these spaces.

I wish to give -5 (yes minus five) start rating. Went to this ridiculous shop to buy WD40 contact cleaner. I have been there 5 minutes. After two months I have received letter from the debt collection company that they have issued me the parking ticket (I was using their car park and parked correctly) which I did not pay!!!! Avoid. Thank you very much for a great shopping experience!! I will never buy anything from Halfords and will discrourage anyone I know to do the same. As I see another people had the same problem and it is not clearly marked that it is not Halfords parking. All shop parkings are \private land\ and there is not clear indication that it is not Halfords private land.

Really quick and effective service. Ordered a bike to pick up and was very pleased with the time it took and the quality of the bike build. Also covid measures are well established.

Very unprofessional stuff! Avoid this place! Asked to help matching wipers to my new car, guy who suppose to help took the Rev number at the till noted something on a paper and disappeared for 10 minutes not even telling what’s going on so we thought he is looking for the stock in the back of the store. Then tried to avoid us when we waited for him and finally said that we need to get to the queue at the front and someone else will help us. Like WHAT??? I am working way too long in customer service to know this is highly unprofessional and RUDE! Allowing customer to come in without masks is another thing... 3 out of 7 people In the shop didn’t have face coverings and shouting Ine to another between alleys spraying their saliva on the shelves. Brilliant... what a mess this shop is!!
