Had a truly amazing time at the Croydon Airport Visitor Centre! It only opens on one Sunday per month so I'm glad we went to see it! It was very popular. Tour groups are run regularly (every 30 minutes if not more often). The tour guide was very knowledgeable and very informative. These guides are volunteers. There was alot to see and interact with throughout. This fantastic experience was free. There is a recommended donation amount of 5 per person which is worth every penny. I'm more than happy to give money to a great cause like this. I hope to see this fantastic asset stay for a very long time!

It has a nice Cafe inside, mainly used for internal businesses.

Such an important and historic airport, the worlds first air traffic control and passenger terminal. It’s open for viewing once a month. The original control tower, airport building and part runway exists. A De Havilland Heron sits proudly at the entrance, Having being actively used at the airport when open.

Great little place with knowledgeable volunteers. Well worth a visit. Only open on the first Sunday of each month makes the trip even more special.
