I’m a volunteer with Fuel Our Frontline, during this Covid-19 crisis we’ve been delivering groceries to the frontline NHS staff. I’ve been loading up at Café Deli in the mornings before heading off to the hospitals and have found the staff there to be amazing! As well as being a supplier, Café Deli has been a generous supporter of Fuel Our Frontline by giving our charity credit so we can’t thank them enough.

I would highly recommend Cafe Deli as an all round food supplier. Dry goods, dairy, fresh breads, frozen hand made cakes, sandwich fillings and cold meats, cold and frozen beverages, crisps, disposables and cleaning,.. and more. We started using them a couple of years ago. The prices were much better than previous suppliers. The payment and invoicing system is very efficient, other suppliers charged the full amount and then you have to keep chasing them for credit notes, not the case with Cafe Deli they delay payment and only ever charge for goods received. There was no need to give card details each time or scrabble around to tally up invoices at the end of each month. The customer service on the phone is quick, efficient and friendly. They keep up with modern food trends too which means your business can move with the times, they now supply a whole range of milks including Oatly (oat milk) and almond milk. The drivers are regular and responsible, the food is always delivered fresh and at the correct temperature. Its not an understatement to say using them helped develop my cafe and step it up a notch. Best supplier!!

I have been using Cafe Deli twice a week for the past two and a half years. I have been an extremely loyal customer to them, but they seriously need to review their customer service skills. They make mistakes frequently and always blame the customer. The way they speak to you is absolutely unacceptable! There’s a few operators who are friendly, helpful and professional, but the other half are just plain rude. I’ve had the phone slammed down on me on several occasions over the past two years because they messed up. Just today my order didn’t even arrive and again I just got a rude response from them. They definitely do not make you feel like a valued customer. I would never treat my customers in just manner.
