Good for kids
This spot will always be somewhere very special for me, my late grandad used to love walking these hills and taking us to see the viewpoint!

Great place for walking ,can be wet under foot. Rough or unmade paths and steep hills. Car park at the top.
Came here for a solo walk on new years day. It was a misty day so the views weren't as great as they could be but it was still lovely. I'm looking forward to coming back in the spring/summer time. There were so many walks and trails through the trees; it was easy to get lost in your own world. Great for dog walking or playing hide and seek with the kids. Lots of parking too, with at least 3 car parks that I saw, though I came on the bus (466). Only downside was the litter, especially around the lookout point. The two small bins were just not enough. This is definitely a new favourite spot of mine; I'll be back!
Nice view at night but does get crowded with people some days
