Nice service and pleasant atmosphere. Decent menu and good prices. The food was tasty and fresh.
Food is very nice however I found a hair in my food (1 star less) . The waitress was very kind and replaced my meal but I would have expected to be offered a form of discount or a desert or something really, it didn't happen (1 star less) . Also I had to wait for my food to come whilst my family had theirs but that's expected. But let me reiterate, the food is good and I'm sure my experience is a one off.
Just came back from a another wonderful evening at Abshar Persian Restaurant, South Croydon. My first dining out venture since Lockdown and it didn’t disappoint. The food was great, big fresh portions of my mouth watering favourites were a heart-warming delight. More importantly it was a pleasure and relief to see COVID 19 social distancing precautions in place from the Manager and all staff wearing masks and gloves, ensuring guests (tables) were seated at an appropriate social distance from one another. Looking forward to my next visit with confidence for my safety and a hearty appetite for one of the best restaurants in Croydon!
Awful terrible aggressive service from the Manager \Meloriya\. I visited this restaurant on the 17/8/2020 for the 50 percent government scheme. They made us pay full price for mocktails which are non-alcoholic drinks which is just sprite and mint. When I spoke to the manager, she was aggressive towards me. On top of this, they overcharged us for the mocktails which is meant to 4.5 but made us pay 5 as they said that is what the system says regardless what is advertised. I have reported them for not following the scheme and i will report them to trading/advertising standards for overcharging their customers. They did not inform us that that the mocktails will not be included even though it should have. They could easily still claim back the money for this. The food was not that great either, waste of time and money. Please avoid this place at all costs, terrible service and they seem to make their own rules up.They need to educate themselves with the laws and abide by them instead of being aggressive.
