Remarkable pub, oozing character and authenticity. No frills, not a drop of paint has been lavished on it in 60 years. Good never changing menu and real ales straight from the barrel. Its an experience, but a highly recommended experience.

Great & food as always.
Warmest of welcomes. We were keen to visit on the recommendation of a friend. When we realised that we might not get there before lunch service ended we phoned and they offered to let us pre-order and have lunch ready for us when we arrived. Excellent (and enormous) ploughman's, well kept Ake, friendly staff, high quality of dog. Highly recommended.
What can I say.... Absolutely amazing food. Great atmosphere. Excellent staff. A real treat!! I highly recommend a visit.
