I have recently completed the Coast to Coast walk. The Crown in Shap was one of the best places I stayed on my trip, Mark and Sharon are so friendly and helpful they can’t do enough for you. The food and beer is great just what you need after a long days walk. They also do a great breakfast and cater for vegetarians. I Pitched my tent in the garden there are also some sleeping pods available with limited numbers. Excellent thank you Mark and Sharon.
What an excellent find! Mark and Sharon are the perfect hosts. The banter was great, everyone very friendly, amazing home cooked meals, definitely worth going a couple of miles off the motorway. First pub I've been in since lockdown, everything set up extremely well. We'll be back
Came here for breakfast and was amazing well worth the money, eyes bigger than my belly and couldn't eat it all Owners where very accommodating would definitely recommend and hope to go back again soon when I'm back up that way :)
