Great & hot food. Good portion size. Nice friendly atmosphere. I can't comment on range of drinks as it's only ever soft drinks for the wife and I. We have been three times all equally good. Just opened this to book our 4th visit.
First time here for a Sunday lunch, vegetables were good apart from the roast potatoes . These seemed to have very hard edges did not seem to have been oven cooked. Very limited choice of 2 desserts, unfortunately I wouldn't go back.
4 of us came here for a Carvery and it was perfect and delicious, cooked perfectly and fresh. Staff also very friendly and helpful. Would certainly reccomend the Crown & anchor.
