Utterly superb, I would struggle to find anything negative to say. Surroundings pleasant and clean. Seats - we were given a choice and comfortable. Service polite, good humoured and attentive. Good offering of drinks available, not as varied as usual apparently but for a very good reason - the likelihood of another lockdown. Good variety of meals on menu. The food was exceptional. We all had lamb shank which were cooked to perfection accompanied by wide selection of veg. Prices very reasonable

What a find, had lunch after a good walk. Some good walks in this area. Very friendly Landlord and Wife. Food very plentiful and home cooked. We will be returning soon Locals need to support this Pub.
