This is a real gem of an aviation collection. A warm welcome was had from the very enthusiastic volunteers many of them double also as restorers of the collection. Always very knowledgeable about individual aircraft & exhibits, very keen to share the background stories & history of the site. The recent completion of the F-4 Phantom is very impressive with a great deal of attention to detail. The other aircraft in the collection are great to see & in time will see their own restoration taking place. The highlight is the Vulcan cockpit tour which is fabulous this is not something that can be done at other collections that have a Vulcan, the group has kept XJ823 looking great both externally & internally. Leave yourself plenty of time to soak up the collection & take in all the exhibits in the main buildings also, there is lots in there to see & read about. Tea & coffee facilities with snacks & sweets, plus a gift shop with many different items to buy including models. A really enjoyable place to visit.

Fabulous, Much better than we imagined. The museum was excellent as well as the static displays and able to get up close (and inside some) of the exhibits. Well bone to all involved.

We had a great afternoon, staff friendly and knowledgeable. We even got the opportunity to have a sit in the Vulcan along with a few other air craft. Recommended.

As it was closed for winter refurbishment I couldn't see most of the exhibits but walking around the perimeter I did see some of the aeroplanes , opens 5th of April.

Amazing slice of aviation history, worth it for visiting the Vulcan alone but so much more.on offer with both a vampire and phantom as well as a wide variety of planes and aviation/space memorabilia. Staff are ever so friendly and accommodating. Truly a treasure of the area.
