We went yesterday for the Sunday Roast. Staff very friendly and very clean everything. We had the roast beef and the lamp shank. It was a good pub quality. A lot lovely gravy, both meat a little bit chewy. I expected a full lamb shank but got a few slices of meat. The salad needs more dressing. This is why we gave four stars. A suggestion for the chef: The roasted vegetables were lovely but broccoli and red cabbage were tasteless. I had that in other pubs before and can not understand why you can’t get butter and salt with the broccoli or a well cooked red cabbage with onions, apples and butter. I’m from Germany and know how wonderful that can taste . I can recommend this nice pub! Great atmosphere.

Superb, super helpful staff. Lots of sanitising stations everywhere. Super clean. Yummy food. Great drinks selection. Best thing was the outdoor mini-shacks which meant we could be sheltered from the rain, under a heater but still in our own outdoor space. With kids or adults, highly recommend this place. Lots of outdoor space & safe, sheltered large grass beer garden too.
Great night at Cromwells last night with the B2B networking team. Lloyd and the staff provided a great service all night and the food and drinks were at the usual high standard. Despite the issues which surround us with COVID the Cromwells team make the place feel welcoming with all the correct procedures in place. Keep the hard work up

We went today and were sat at a table outside and enquired about ordering food, we were told that you could only order if a table had been previously booked. There was nobody sat inside and we were already seated at a table so fail to see how they were fully booked. Then friends of a member of staff were able to order food even though they had not booked a table either, but we're told it was OK. Very very poor
