Dishonest and untrustworthy. As part of the contract of sale they offered to have the wheels repainted as they were badly curbed which I was happy with. However, the wheels were done 3 times and the lacquer is still flaking off. As it's a 3.5 hour round trip I said I didn't want to make the drive again, to have another poor job done by the same person. Offered to have them done locally if they made a contribution to which they eventually agreed (most of which I was still paying for myself). Now refusing to honour their agreement and claiming blackmail over the threat of leaving a poor review. I have all the emails and photos, some of which I have included below. Car hasn't been used at all since lockdown and paint comes off with light touch of a fingernail. Yet Cromford Cars thinks this is acceptable! Don't trust this company. EDIT: In response to the reply below - I was a part time car valeter for 5 years, I know far better than to clean anything with wire wool. Half the wheels are missing lacquer entirely and the others started peeling about 2 days later, prior to cleaning. Poor excuse! I also never claimed to return three times. But the wheels were done three times, you initially delayed the pick-up of the vehicle due to the wheels needing to be re-painted as you weren't happy with them! Then when I returned they were done badly again, while also fixing another problem painting the wheels caused!
1st class service from start to finish. Love the car. Had a couple of things that needed rectification which Mark was true to his word and resolved very quickly. An absolute genuine friendly guy who looks after you. I would definitely talk to Mark before getting another car in the future. Would highly recommend Cromford Cars to anyone. Brilliant company to buy off. Was initially worried about buying a car during lockdown but Mark at Cromford cars was fantastic and kept us updated every step of the way. Mark delivered the car to us (with full service and MOT) and we are delighted with the car and can only say good things about Mark and his team. We will definitely be buying from Cromford cars again and would recommend to anyone.
I purchased a lovely car from this garage last week. I could not fault the service we received. They opened the garage especially for us on Sunday for a viewing and a test drive. The car was spotless came with mot and service and they very kindly delivered to my home address. I would highly recommend could not do enough to help us. Thank you so much!
