Great wine bar, good selection of wines, friendly staff

Pleasant surprise. Loads of character
First of all, there is nothing wrong with the service, or the selection of wine. They have a wide selection and service is always nice. The reason for my 3 stars is the space. The place gets really crowded, especially since it's the only place open after the pubs close, so it gets ram packed. There are tables, but even if you manage to get one, you still feel like you've got people standing on top of you. There is also only one ladies toilet, which I know the owners can't do much about, but the long queue will get to you. But as I said, the selection is good and the service is nice.
Completely dead on a Friday night. Really old decor (duct tape holding the lounge together). The owners very drunk friend kept coming to our table, uninvited, and taking at as for 10 minutes at a time. He then teased me, because I was looking very annoyed and disinterested in him.
Crispins has a solid wine selection, reasonably priced with good bar staff. It’s also one of the few bars open late in Ealing, and has a piano for impromptu sing alongs - well worth a visit.
