There is no better place for a child to enjoy a complete prep-school education incorporating the very best of the Scottish countryside, traditions, sport and academics. My daughter once said: \Is there such as thing as school sickness? I can't wait to get back there

Ardvreck is a prep school in Scotland where I’ve had three children educated. The eldest left with a scholarship to a senior school and the other two are still there. They are all different children in their sporting and academic abilities, but they have all loved it. As well as preparing them academically they undertake a range of outdoor activities, being well placed with the Scottish Highlands on the doorstep. The highlight is the Ard Challenge, where the children (plus any parent who wants to come along) hike 11 miles through the countryside ending up on the banks of Loch Tay. Along the way they undertake a variety of fun challenges. Ardvreck is also strong on the pastoral care, meaning the children that come out are well-rounded and polite. If you’re considering private education for your children, then Ardvreck should be on the shortlist.

Ardvreck is the most magical place and we are so grateful our children attend this school. Our experience is that Ardvreck children learn how to grow as resilient, kind and happy individuals. They are encouraged to explore whenever and wherever possible (be it through reading and writing subjects, through music or art or through sports and outdoor adventure) and to discover their personal uniqueness and embrace it with vigour. All whilst receiving a robust and 'traditional' academic education.
