Amazing pizza, wonderful surroundings. I was waiting for my car to get ceramic coating done at PP Protect who suggested I can stay at this place. The customer service is on a proper restaurant level, they know their food well. Asked how the food was just after serving and after. I was sat in the corner away from other customers yet nobody forgot about me. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area and fancy some nice food. I’ve seen other plates with steaks coming out of the kitchen and they looked amazing!

The pub has the flexability to still pop in for a pint or two or to have a full blown meal. The staff are friendly and efficient, food is great which is homemade as well and all at a reasonable price. They have in place plenty of hand sanitisers and social distancing without ruining the meal. Highly recommend.

Very quiet as was to be expected with the current situation. But, still excellent food and service. I can understand why its best to book rather than just turn up. Extremely pleasant lunch.

Well.. Where do I start here. I phoned to book a table for a bit of food and a drink as my partner and I were both passing through and very hungry for some good pub food. As the phone was answered on the other end, I was welcomed by a mixture of what I can describe as a smokers \cough laughing fit\ down the phone in a pretty unprofessional way. The young girls telephone manner was next to appalling. In no way professional at all. Nevertheless, we got a table and went there straight away. When we entered, the atmosphere was cold and desolate which was helped along by the strenuous choice in Top 40 Chart Music. As well as this, there was one of the waitresses, on the phone and crying. Understandably, she may have been upset. However, maybe a more private room would be appropriate for her situation. We then left our information due to Track and Trace and got shown to our table. We were taken to a room that reminded me of limbo. Every waitress was standing around, doing nothing, on their phones, laughing and joking about unprofessional topics. It was a very uncomfortable place to be in. We sat down to torn, food stained paper menus. And no drinks menu in sight. In which they didn't actually have a drinks menu at all. All well and good providing the waiters and waitresses know every drink on the menu. Which, they did not. We looked at the menu and then decided to drink up our drinks and leave without eating. If the service is that poor before we even order, then whats the food going to be like? Maybe the quantity of the \1lb pie\ speaks for itself. Quantity over quality.

A really lovely lunch. Fantastic pizzas from the new pizza oven! Good sized portions and the steak and ale pie was really tasty and quality chunks of meat. Great service and they were great with our 11 year old who said she really liked our waitress as she spoke to her personally.
