Serene and beautiful park. Great place to walk and unwind. Lots of benches to relax on, great play areas for kids to play and dogs to run around. Lots of parking space also. Can't wait to visit again.

visited the park today around 2pm and saw 3 rats, one of whom was sat on the railing of the bridge eating some seed that someone had left for the animals. The rat was not at all spooked by my presence. I will not be visiting with my grandchildren after the lockdown is lifted I am sorry to say.

Pilgrims Place

This is great open space with bridges, lake, water features, boating and a huge cafe at its centre. Plenty of space for everyone.

Queens Park is beautiful at this time of year. We’ve had a couple of wet walks around the park with our dog who loves looking for squirrels! Sadly they won’t play with her!! Dogs should be kept on a lead as there is a lot of wildlife to keep safe. There is a good size car park across from the park. The park has wide paths and it is clean and well kept, with lots of bins to keep it that way! The facilities are good too, plenty of benches, a cafe, a kids playground and an outdoor gym.
