I would highly recommend this place for either purchasing a new sewing machine or having one repaired. The man who owns / runs it is very knowledgeable and does not try to up-sell you something that you don't need. Ex exceptionally nice fella.

Took my 40 year old sewing machine in for a repair after I had broken it. Fixed quickly and very good value for money. Will definitely nately use again and recommend for people who need a sewing machine repairing.
We bought a Janome 2300C Sewing machine from Mr Cresswell some time ago but last week we couldn't get the needle threader to work. He fixed the problem over the phone. We were delighted. He could not have been more help. Great. Five star service..
Knowledge and helpful owner of this small shop. He serviced my approx 30 year old machine rapidly (I think servicing may be his specialty). Would happily use this small shop again. It is not open on Wednesdays or Saturday afternoons.
