Great shop if you need to rush for a couple of things needed. Unfortunately they have this annoying rule of buying more than one beer which is annoying it is a waste of money and it implies to bottles. Plus, it would be nice if there were more of those DVDs where the magazine's are, instead of edited DVDs that comes with magazines - also a waste of money. And...if they had other items like steak or chicken drumsticks or hot sauces. Obviously it's not a supermarket, but still it should have a little bit of items for some shoppers. Or at least maybe have a working (free) cash machine. Having said that, it is a very friendly and brilliant shop with an open range of booze. I recommend this shop.

Out of the 3 convenience stores on this strip of shops and houses, this is my favourite. I will always choose this shop over the other two. The customer service alone is enough to make you return. It's friendly, personal and helpful. I always get a warm welcome and a familiar greeting by asking me how I am etc. They remember the regular customers and the little things like that count for the majority of a reason to return to a shop in future. They have a great range of products available, the store is quite large enabling a variety of different items available to the customer, including fresh breads etc. They also have a pay point machine now, meaning it will always be my first choice as no need to go elsewhere! They shut around 11/11:30pm which is the downside as you then have to visit Bosc Vegas where customer service was murdered at the door step and you can expect nothing more than a bare bones minimal basic shopping experience. Your guaranteed more at the crescent. They have recently employed more staff too, who have instantly remembered my face after one visit and provides excellent service by being very friendly and perfectly helpful & understanding to your needs. He has obviously and very clearly been trained quickly and very well that customer service is indeed very important and he was as good as the rest of the team immediately. Always willing to go the extra mile whether it be changing up your money for the bus or letting you off a couple of pence til next time. To have that trust and understanding goes a very long way for me and means a lot as sometimes those few pence would be difference between me eating or not that day, so the understanding between myself and the staff is fantastic. TOP marks for top staff :)
