Great Tesla services. Conveniently located. Service centre have friendly staff, and during Covid19 they have all the social distancing steps in place. And oh, outside, there are a bunch of new superchargers, which are very convenient and fast.

Thank you Tesla Crawley for the way you responded to the MCU/touch screen problems I had with my Tesla S90D registration GY16 AAK. Fantastic service! I decided that the best thing I could do in return was to make other Tesla owners aware of what had happened. So on Friday I posted on the Tesla Owners UK Facebook page. The response was fantastic - 450 Tesla owners responded with ‘likes’ or positive comments! This is what I said in my Facebook post: A positive story while we are all stuck at home during lockdown. I am an 89 year old widower who 4 1/2 years ago bought a new S90D from Tesla’s Crawley branch. Driving this car has been an immensely satisfying experience. And the car has always been totally reliable. Until Tuesday last week that is, when the memory control unit (MCU) failed overnight, so that I was faced with a blank touch screen. Normally this still leaves the car driveable, but not if (like me) you are using ‘pin to drive’, for the pin can only be entered via the (now dead) touch screen. So I called Tesla Crawley who said they would send their mobile technician. Unfortunately he was fully booked for several days but they would let me know a.s.a.p when he would be able to come After a sleepless night I phoned Tesla Crawley again and said I just wanted them to be aware that I was 89 and living on my own, and that without my car I would not be able to do my weekly shopping. They responded by providing me with a loan car free of charge, delivered by one of their workshop technicians, who got my car driveable again. He then drove my car to Crawley where my MCU was replaced under warranty. Outstanding service! And that is how you turn a negative experience (the MCU failure) into a positive experience. So would I at my age buy another model S if my car got badly damaged or stolen? Yes of course I would!
