It's not even mid September and they have started setting up their Christmas merchandise displays! Even the dog friendly sitting area in the restaurant has been halved to make room for the festive items. However, that is not the reason for this review. We popped in with our dogs for cake and coffee and very nice it was too. Staff always friendly and helpful.

Generally this garden centre has improved over the last 6 months. Christmas decorations are beautiful & well priced. However, think a little customer service training at the tills is needed!!!! Having spent 70 I went to pay with cash only to be told “don’t take fifties!!” Must admit with a mask on I didn’t quite hear him first time, so having said “pardon” again “don’t take fifties!!” He must have repeated this 4 times!!!! Ok I get it & generally not a problem but maybe something along the lines of “Unfortunately we can accept fifties at the moment” Rather than just constantly repeating “don’t take fifties!!” ???? Mind you gave the people in the queue behind a laugh.
A really lovely garden centre. With a lovely range of xmas decorations. Xmas trees . Plants and Gifts. A helpful pets corner. Staff are lovely and friendly. Outside we had a lovely coffee and a burger takeaway from the mobile van. Because of covid the restaurant was shut.
My first trip out and into a store in 4 months! I must say I felt extremely safe there today. We ate a fabulous, very tasty roast dinner. The staff are all very safety aware, helpful, and friendly All these things went towards my first trip out into a building a very lovely and calming experience. Thankyou! I would highly recommend the centre and in particular the restaurant. Go and enjoy! You will be welcomed, feel safe, and enjoy the best roast I've eaten.
