Best chip shop in the world? ....Probably. Been in more chippies than I care to remember, can thing of a good few that run it close, but none that can beat it. Craven's takes you back in time 40 or 50 years to a different world, just like all comfort food should. An oasis of stability in this ever changing, mad COVID world. Please don't ever change.

Food was tasty and the service was lovely. They were shutting soon but still offered to make up what we wanted! Will go again.
Would have been really nice had they been fresh..the fish was almost cold and slightly rubbery as we're the chips. The fish was cooked lovely so it was disappointing that they weren't fresh
