I have only been here half an hour, but in that short time this place might have made it to one of my favourite pubs I've ever been to. The atmosphere is great. Warm, with 2 fires. Characterful and quaint furniture and decoration. Lots of locals who clearly love this place. Outside the window are stunning views of some of the best countryside in England. The beer selection is brilliant, full of carefully looked after extremely local ales. Including the Barghest Stout (for the Craven Arms) and Appletreewick Cider, which are about as local as possible. The food was real pub grub, but with an attention to detail that elevated it. I had the beef brisket and was impressed. The walk here was beautiful, and absolutely worth it. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Lovely food and drink set in beautiful surroundings. Due to Covid 19 the menu can only be accessed by smart or I phone and it is card payment only.

We'd booked a year in advance for my dad's birthday so were so pleased we were actually able to come given the challenges of this year. Very fast and professional responses to our emails checking on arrangements, our table was in the exact location requested to accommodate mobility and health requirements of our party. Today every member of staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the masks didn't hide the fact there were smiling faces behind them! Food was absolutely out of this world, we all had the grouse and every mouthful was delicious. The Craven Arms is a class act and we look forward to returning. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Great location decent beer but poor customer service. I don't think the bloke behind the bar was happy to be working on sunny Sunday but shouldn't be taking it out on the customers. You would be better at the other pub as I'm sure they'd be grateful for your money.

We had a lovely Saturday afternoon at the Craven Arms. Richard and his team were fantastic, making recommendations for food and beer, as we hadn't visited before. We were asked if we wanted to move to a table near to the fire as it was a chilly day. Really look forwarding to visiting again soon!
