Just had lunch here. Good service and genuinely fantastic food. The sandwiches are brilliant as was our salmon pate starter. Coffee was also excellent. Nice Scottish themed decor too. 5 stars all round, a gem of a place.

I'm literally sat in the restaurant after my meal, compelled to review. This place is fantastic. would highly recommend, great value for money and great portion sizes. healthy, fresh food. we ordered a large and small share platter. probably the best meal I've had all year.
From past reviews, I don’t believe we ordered well or caught the kitchen staff on an off night. The small restaurant is quiet and relaxed with excellent service. Although our dishes were well presented, as shown in the pictures, we found them rather bland and very salty. The appetizer, though, was delicious (fried cauliflower in a cheese fondue)! From the looks and smell of things they may do better with meat dishes rather than vegetarian?
We had a lovely lunch here yesterday, food and service both excellent. Decor and feel of the place is cosy. Dog friendly so we could have our pup with us. Will definitely go back.
Delicious food nice atmosphere and child friendly. Stumbled upon this little gem. Will definitely be back. Lamb rump was delicious and kids meals were really decent quality,bit the usual frozen cheap rubbish
