I can't praise the Oak Barn at Frame Farm highly enough. My partner and I were due to be Married there in 2020. We’ve had to change our plans and dates multiple times due to lockdowns and travel restrictions. Repeatedly postponing a Wedding has been frustrating, but it's been made so much easier by Deana, Tim and Polly, whose communication, efficiency, kindness, patience and support have been tireless. We haven't had our Wedding yet, but wanted to leave a review to say how brilliant the team have been and how wonderful the venue is. For the past year, we’ve been living down the road from the Oak Barn, and you can't help but gawp at this beautifully renovated, lovingly cared-for farm whenever you pass by. Every Season compliments the farm in its own way - the lambs in the Spring, the sunsets in the Summer (right over one of their fields), the colours in the Autumn, and the underfloor heating, wood-burner and fairy-lights wound around the old, oak-beams make it a magical Winter venue. It's a 5min walk to one of the best pubs in the area (The Bull - live music and pies), it's surrounded by footpaths through ancient woodland and 'areas of outstanding natural beauty', and Weavers Cottages and the Venue buildings and kitted out with everything you'd need to accommodate the perfect celebration or get-away. We’re very grateful to the Oak Barn team, and are so looking forward to celebrating our Wedding with them later this year.

We loved our stay at the Oak Barn. The accommodation was great, very clean with a modern interior in an old building. Very peaceful, but plenty to do in the local area. Hosts were friendly and welcoming.

We were lucky enough to get married at The Oak Barn, Frame Farm in October 2020 and would highly recommend this amazing venue to anyone planning a wedding or other special event. The Oak Barn and the on-site cottages have been beautifully renovated and restored to the highest standards, combining luxury and comfort. The owners Tim & Deana were a pleasure to deal with from the very beginning, and although we unfortunately had to postpone our original April wedding plans due to the pandemic, they made such a positive difference to our wedding planning experience through these difficult times. They are understanding, flexible and so helpful, always responding quickly and positively to any queries and working with us to plan our special day. We decided to go ahead with our ‘mini-wedding’ this year and enjoyed a small, intimate celebration with our close family – the venue is perfectly suited to smaller scale events as well as larger weddings and we’ll be returning next year for the big party and wedding reception with all of our original guests – we cannot wait!

This venue has beautiful surroundings. The description of the accommodation as a cottage is slightly misleading as it is in actual fact a terrace. The facilities were top notch e.g shower, bed and kitchen. All these were to a very high standard. We were met by the owner on arrival who was able to give us a good description of these facilities and how to use them, making sure that we adhered to the current covid guidelines. However, the reason for the 4 star rating is that we were disappointed in the fact that we were expecting a cottage and we felt that some aspects of hospitality were cool. A small welcome token of something from a local bakery or farm would add to the ambiance.

The Oak Barn Frame Farm is an absolute gem of a place to stay. Utterly fabulous in all ways. The setting is wonderful in beautiful countryside yet close to amenities, walks and great pubs. The individual cottages are stunning and have all the things you will need for a great stay. Kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and sitting/dining area all well designed in a contemporary comfortable style. Beds and bed linen are top quality to ensure a great night’s sleep. We stayed for ten days in between moving homes and we wanted for nothing. The owners Deana and Tim are around yet unobtrusive; kind and helpful in every way. Whilst we were there we saw into the great Oak Barn wedding venue...we were totally mesmerised by its ancient, preserved beauty yet contemporary finish to today’s tastes. Fabulous.
