My daughter needed her bridesmaid dress greatly re-altered as it was not how she wanted it, or expected it to look when it was ordered online. Bert has been very thorough readjusting it to her design, even though it has been a bit of a long process, as getting her final specifications took some extracting. Bert was very patient with the dress fittings. Since this is can be a very intimate/close personal service, the female staff are on hand to assist if requested. We haven’t seen the final Dress adjustments yet as we collect it on Tuesday for the wedding on Thursday. I have every confidence in Bert and the rest of the team. Other customers are clearly happy with their work as they have so many regulars in and out of the shop dropping off and bringing in new items for repair and readjustment. Will definitely return again in the future when I need any more tailoring.

Helen is amazing! Fabulous at alterations. She shortened sleeves on my beautiful winter white coat - absolutely perfect job! I was over the moon. She also altered a jumpsuit which now fits perfectly. Fabulous experience with alterations for my wedding dress. Bert just wanted to make sure I looked as good as I could and was a perfectionist and I am really happy with the result. There is a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the shop which made me feel comfortable and confident with the work that would be done.

I booked an appointment with Bert to get my prom dress altered 3 weeks before my prom. Bert and Helen were both very welcoming and friendly, making me feel very comfortable. Bert was very honest and gave me suggestions about what changes could be to the dress, that would suit me. This was very useful as I wasn’t very clear on what I wanted. Finally, Bert listened to my every request and for filled all of my expectations. Bert was also very reassuring that the dress would look perfect on the day of my prom and that the alterations would be done in time. The alterations took 2 weeks and I couldn’t be anymore happier with the outcome. Thank you Bert and Helen.

I Took my daughter to have her beautiful prom dress (which was already lovely) and had it transformed into an amazing figure hugging dress. Bert certainly has an eye for detail and perfection .... with his quick wit and honesty he is sure to make any girl feel like a million dollars making every detail count . Would definitely recommend but make sure you’re aware that it is a male seamstress who has a good knowledge about clothing and an eye for detail . Thanks Bert for making my daughters dress stunning .
