So much space! You feel like you are away from everything, even though the motorway is so close. The forest can be muddy but that is half of the fun.

Lovely place for a walk, has been busy during covid19, so not somewhere for a quiet walk in isolation. Watch out for the woods near the a30, if your dog likes to run, there is no boundary fence to prevent them getting onto the a30.
A nice path to follow and a good walk with lots of different routes well worth a visit
When I first went here with my friends few years ago we weren't very impressed when we saw the muddy car park and the entrance, we walked few places and returned back. I went back recently and walked further and realised what I missed. On a sunny day this place is wonderful for a leisurely walk with excellent views. If you prefer you can walk through woods and if not there are open walk ways too! Highly recommended for a walk to relax
Lovely to walk the dog. Pathways are good and solid under foot. The hill is a bit steep on the way back. Free car park. Plenty of bins and good amount of benches to rest and take in the views
